Hello! Our eyes are on Salford tonight, as the Saints travel to the Red Devils for some Thursday night Super League. Ohh. Saints. Devils. So much religious imagery.

Saints can go four points clear with a win, but Wigan would have two games in hand. Salford have been half the team Saints have in 2018, with ten points on the board compared to their opponents' 20. They'll be hoping to close the gap on the top six here

Here come the teams. Already past 7.45. Disgrace.

Chris Kendall in charge of proceedings tonight. Saints in black get us underway. 0-0 (1)

Salford mess up a PTB just short of halfway, not actually a knock on. And it's punished! Makinson goes over down the right hand corner, great ball from Barba too. What a start for Saints! Tough kick in windy conditions, it's missed. 0-4 (5)

Brilliant restart from Salford, and they get the scrum after they put the Saints man in touch. Just a few metres out here. Sau almost escapes for the line but is stopped. Shorrocks kicks on the last but anticlimatically runs dead. 0-4 (7)

Good set from Saints going from end to end, Thompson took a bit of a hit though, he's hurt his neck by the looks of it. 0-4 (9)

High tackle on Grace there. Saints can get into the Salford half once again, but fail to take advantage as Wilkin cocks up the play the ball. 0-4 (11)

Liverpool FC fans will be delighted to hear the Allez Allez Allez song has made it to rugby league. 0-4 (13)
