John Higgins

Kyren Wilson - Session 4

Good afternoon. I'm Mel (@MissMelanie_H) with the final session from John Higgins and Kyren Wilson in the semi-final of the World Championships. Higgins leads 13-11 at the moment and we have a potential 9 frames this afternoon to see who will go through to the final.

JH 0 - 0 KW (13-11) The players ready backstage and Rob Walker is ready to introduce them to the crowd. First Kyren Wilson and then John Higgins.

JH 0 - 0 KW (13-11) Higgins breaks off in frame 25.

JH 8 - 0 KW (13-11) Good escape from Wilson in to the pack of reds. A miscue from Wilson and that leaves the white in the middle of the table. Higgins is in with a mid-range red and on the black.

JH 24 - 0 KW (13-11) He nudges into the reds from the black and they should all now pot if position is good. He is also on all reds and blacks the moment. #147Alert.

JH 40 - 8 KW (13-11) Not the best contact for Higgins... and he misses the red. Wilson finds a plant to pot that red over the pocket. The reds are all on for him other than one close to the bottom cushion but it can be potted.

JH 40 - 44 KW (13-11) He quickly draws ahead in the frame with a black after potting that awkward red on the bottom cushion.

JH 40 - 65 KW (13-11) He leaves the red on the right hand cushion to last and nudges it into open play. It's not great as it run across the table but still easier than before.

JH 0 - 0 KW (13-12) The red is potted into the left middle and he has the colours on their spots to steal the frame. Higgins now needs snookers but Wilson clears the table to be one behind again.

JH 0 - 0 KW (13-12) Wilson is snookered behind the yellow. He rolls into the pack and leaves a tough safety for Higgins. They are tip tapping around the pack... I am thinking re-rack here. Or not as Wilson gets back to baulk
