Good evening, and welcome to our coverage of the second leg of the Championship playoff semi-final between Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. (Also known as the Gareth Southgate Derby)

The hosts take a 1-0 lead back to Villa Park after Mile Jedinak's header on Saturday, James Bree replaces the injured Ahmed Elmohammady in an otherwise unchanged team For Boro, Dael Fry replaces Daniel Ayala, while Rudy Gestede, once of Villa, returns from injury and is amongst the subs

Tonight's game is overshadowed by this morning's tragic events, when JLloyd Samuel, who was best known for his spell with Villa, died in a car crash after dropping his kids off to school. He also played for my team Bolton, and was part of the side which knocked Atletico Madrid out of Europe in 2008. RIP JLloyd

The Villa players will wear black armbands, and there'll be a minutes' applause prior to kickoff

Here come the teams. Villa Park synomonous with semi-finals, but not many playoff ones

A minutes' applause, mentioned earlier, happening now

We're underway! Agg. 1-0 (1)

Snodgrass gets the ball off Friend as he cuts in, gets forward, and receives a knock on the knee as a prize for his efforts. 0-0 (3)

Decent move from Villa yields a corner which is taken short, Bree has a crack but it's wild. 0-0 (6)
